An Affair Of The Heart Documentary Premieres at the Florida Film Festival

Catching up on some of the press from the "An Affair Of The Heart" premiere at the Florida Film festival this week:

First up is a great interview with the films director Sylvia Caminer in an article called : "An Affair of the Heart: For the Love of Rick"
http://www.musicfilmweb.com/2012/04/rick-springfield-fans-sylvia-caminer-music-documentary/

The second article is all about the film's premiere .... "Rick Springfield’s Sold-Out Movie Premiere and Appearance Draws Large Crowd at Florida Film Festival"

And finally a great video of a Q & A with  Rick Springfield and the "An Affair Of The Heart" crew at the Florida Film Festival.....

From the Hoops For Life Facebook page:

We are so excited that Rick and the band are coming back to Cape to do a benefit show for Hoops for Life! The show begins at 8 pm at the Bedell Performance Hall at the Southeast Missouri State University River Campus.

All proceeds go directly to the pediatric brain tumor research program at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University, in memory of our daughter, Sahara "Hoops" Aldridge. Come on out and join us for the biggest party in town! If you've never seen a Rick Springfield show, you're in for an unforgettable experience. If you're a seasoned concert-goer, you already know what a great show he puts on, and you will LOVE this venue!

Public presale begins Friday, April 20th at 10 am, and the password is SAHARA. General public seats go on sale April 27th at 10 am. Get your tickets EARLY, folks, we are expecting a sellout! There are only 937 seats in the venue, and you don't want to miss this show. Not a bad seat in the house, and there are ticket prices to fit every budget!
Go to www.rivercampusevents.com or call 573-651-2265 for tickets and more information.

Come to Cape early for the Hoops for Life 5K Run/Walk, and stay for the concert that night! We hope to see YOU there on July 21! http://www.hoopsforlife.net/

Rick Springfield & An Affair of The Heart Info

Here is your chance to see the An Affair of The Heart documentary!

An Affair of the Heart is in the final legs of production - getting prepared for film festival releases in April in search of a distribution deal. That means, once it gets distribution, it will be released into theaters and on to DVD!

You can help make this happen! Yellow Rick Road is conducting a FUNdraising campaign that has some super Rick Perks for contributions to their movie - INCLUDING a private screening of An Affair of the Heart in Milwaukee WITH Rick in May!

Go check it out at the An Affair of the Heart IndieGoGo Campain Website

P.S. In regards to that private screening in Milwaukee, there is a group of fans working to get a group together to make this happen. The final cost will be determined by the final amount of people attending. If you are interested in going, you can email Kim VanHorn Distin (who is heading up the effort) at kimavhd@aol.com.
