See You In Court

Today Noah and Patrick continue to argue over the lawsuit Patrick filed. Patrick told Noah that he has no right to show up out of nowhere and give his opinion about him and his child. Noah says "Dr's without borders isn't exactly nowhere and yes I do!" Patrick says maybe he should go back immediately. Noah says he can't drag Robin into court and sue for visitation of a child that isn't even born yet. Patrick says that he is not going to let her run him out of his child's life. Anna defends Patrick by saying that Robin is forcing his hand and that Robin is in a hyper control mode and she is trying to push him away to prove she doesn't need him when she really does. And Patrick says he hopes she will say that at the hearing tomorrow. Noah asks Anna why she is taking Patrick's side over her daughter and Anna she likes to think she is standing up for the father of her grandchild. Noah responds to that by saying then he will stand up for his grandchild's mother! Noah says " I mean it Patrick, if you don't drop this lawsuit, I'll tell who, whatever judge that you are not fit to be a father."

Robin's Apartment



Robin enters her apartment to find Patrick, Anna & Noah. She is happy to see Noah and gives him a big hug, asking where he has been and why he hasn't called. Noah says that she looks fantastic and congratulations. Patrick says he is so excited, that he is going to testify for her in court tomorrow. Robin says "you are going to testify against Patrick?" Noah says well your Mother is testifying against you. Anna tries to calm everyone down and Patrick says if your thinking I'm going to change my mind, I'm not. Noah says "I'm absolutely fine testifying that you are going to be a rotten father." Robin jumps to Patrick's defense "No offense but don't you think rotten is a bit harsh?" Patrick says "Wow you don't think I'm rotten, that's progress. Any chance you are going to start being reasonable?" Noah asks "Why would any reasonable woman want you to be the father of her child?" Noah says that Patrick is to busy in the OR or risking his life at the race track and that he will never make family a priority. Patrick asks "Why because you didn't?" Noah "yes, I was a terrible role model and you are following in my footsteps." Anna jumps in and defends Patrick by saying most men would be going into court to get out of being a father not asking for visitation. Noah asks why Anna is defending Patrick. She says it's because Patrick and Robin love each other and Robin is only pushing Patrick away because of her messed up childhood. Noah said he was there when Patrick was born and for everything and that he is a rotten father. Anna says "I think you still are quite frankly" Noah "Exactly! My point exactly. I'm his role model." Robin yells at them both to stop, says that it's not about Anna and Noah and the mistakes they made as parents, it's about her and Patrick and how they want to raise their child.


Robin says that she loves Patrick, and the last thing she wants is to dredge up old pain between him and his Dad. Patrick asks if they love each other then why she doesn't believe him when he says he wants to try and be a good father. Anna tries to interrupt, Robin says stay out of it. Robin point out again that it is not about Anna & Noah and she is not blaming how she feels on anyone. Patrick says he is not blaming anyone either but that he is a better surgeon & father than Noah will ever be. Noah asks if this is all about competition. Robin defends Patrick telling Noah that his comments aren't fair and that he has not said one kind word to Patrick since she got there. Anna asks if they both love each other and Robin always defends Patrick and they both want to be parents, why they're going to court? Robin says because she knows what makes Patrick happy. Patrick says "you make me happy, why don't you believe that?" Robin says being a surgeon and the excitement of saving lives is what makes him happy , not staying home and nesting. Robin says she thinks that he honestly believes he wants to be a father, but the baby was her idea, and she is willing to give it the time & commitment it takes to be a good parent. And that's not what Patrick signed up for. Patrick says he has been trying to sign up for awhile now. Robin says she knows that and he is a wonderful man and she loves him for trying to do the right thing but she doesn't want him or need him to, that's what she's going to tell the judge. Patrick fights back his tears.
