Flashback Friday

Today, we have two items for the Flashback Friday. Apparently Rick was willing to put on goofy hats, even back in the 80's!

Rick Springfield - Live, Love, Laugh!

Rick Springfield's career has spanned nearly two decades, every year building up a greater momentum and a greater volume of fans. But just recently, after becoming a father for the first time, Rick sat back and realized that often he has allowed too many of the good things in life to pass him by.
Rick spent most of 1985 on tour in support of his Tao album and feature-length video. He didn't even take much time out for his wife, the former Barbara Porter. But when Rick heard that he was going to become a father, eh slowed down his career pace so that he could enjoy this new experience. (continued)

The second item is an ad for the Living in Oz Tour. It says "All dates are subject to change" which I know is the case because the first time I saw Rick was in Lubbock, TX on 8/30/83 (I still have the ticket stub) so that date definitely changed. I thought it might be interesting for people who saw Rick back during this tour to find their show listed. It also has that he went to Australia on 11/6 and since he says he never toured Australia as a solo artist, this was either a promotional date, or it never happened.
