And no, not the intoxicated kind. Rick Springfield played at the Peppermill Concert Hall in Wendover, NV last night and maybe the most noticable difference in last night's show was the addition of Wasted at the beginning of the encore. It was a very, very nice surprise indeed.Another slight difference last night from recent shows was the reappearance of Gloria. When Gloria came "knocking", he was upstairs watching tv, and this is where this rendition took a bit of a different turn from previous versions. Gloria comes upstairs and hears "this weird tv show" coming from the bathroom....."Bobbie, damn it, I thought I told you to....I said back rub" (Rick recreating the tv show)........"She comes over and she turns the tv off....and now I'll never know what happened in those 3,000 storylines......that go absolutely f#cking nowhere......how many times can one girl get shot......you'll never believe what they are coming up with next in the next couple of months......it can only happen on a Soap Opera....."
Full set list - Who Killed Rock n Roll, Affair of the Heart, Alyson, I've Done Everything for You, Living in Oz, Rock of Life, Gloria, Red House, Don't Talk to Strangers, The Medley, Love Somebody, My Generation, Human Touch, Jessie's Girl, Wasted, Love is Alright Tonite.

Thanks for the great recap of the Wendover show!!!! Sounds like it was great. I am happy to hear that Rick added back an SDAA song. Now if he'd add back several more while in between 'albums,' that would really ROCK! Like maybe...Perfect, Beautiful You, I'll Make You Happy. The Gloria performance sounds like it was cool too. I love that Rick...he's such a clown!
I'm counting down the days til I can rock out in Milwaukee with the man!
Kelley
That sounds like an awesome set list. Wish I was there...thanks for bringing a bit of it to the net for us though!
I can't wait to see this GH storyline he is referring to as well.
What a great Rickcap, Renata. Too funny. Great way to remember the show, and you nailed the lines he said about GH perfectly. I couldn't quite recall them that clearly.
But you know I will be a watching. It was a fun show and very fresh for me (that happens when you only see him every few months at the most).
Thanks again,
Allycen
